As SSUNS gets closer and closer it is important that you make sure you do a lot of research so you can walk in to committee prepared for anything.
General Country and Topic Information
These websites listed below are great for you to learn general stuff about your country and the topics that your committees are going to be discussing.
· CIA World Factbook: Great place to start your research. Full of basic information like population, capital, etc.
· Wikipedia: Open Source Encyclopedia. One of the best tools on the web. Full of links regarding countries, topics, etc. Make sure what you read on here is backed up by another site.
· State Department: Include facts about the land, people, history, government, political conditions, economy, and foreign relations of independent states, some dependencies, and areas of special sovereignty.
· SSUNS: Check out the committee page to look into what you’re going to be discussing.
